Meet Millie
Our miracle baby came into our lives after seven years of secondary infertility. Although doctors gave her only weeks to live, Millie is now over two years old — a living testimony of God’s power, mercy, and grace!
Millie entered the world defying all odds. Time and time again, God has preserved her life. Clearly God has a plan for her life. At birth, she was not breathing and required resuscitation. At two months old, she coded during an MRI of her shoulder — which is when we learned she has a rare brain malformation called Alobar Holoprosencephaly, a condition in which part of her brain didn’t form, and the part that did developed abnormally. With this diagnosis, she wasn’t expected to survive birth, let alone live beyond a few months. Yet here she is today — radiant, strong, and inspiring everyone she meets.
Millie is the first patient with her diagnosis to receive treatment at NeuroSolutions, where a medical case study is now underway to share her remarkable journey. Our hope is that Millie’s progress will help transform the standard of care and expand life expectancy for children born with similar conditions.
